Get ready, Cheer families — our Hereford Rec Cheer extended season is gearing up to bring even more spirit, strength, and sparkle to the mat! 🐮✨📣

Please note that Extended/ Winter season is by invitation only and requires participation in the preceding fall season.

Competition teams from the fall season may choose to do an extended season. Details will come out at the end of the fall season,

Practices- Hereford Middle School

Competitions- May be local or require travel and over night stay

Once a week, regularly. Twice a week, at least the week prior to competition.

Uniforms

A competition uniform is required, and will be available for a $25 rental fee.

Costs

Winter season competitions tend to be more pricey as they are larger and more advanced. Each team's associated cost are related to the specific competition they plan to attend

What are the qualifications for invitations for extended season ?

Several factors are considered when deciding whether to invite a cheerleader to join an extended or advanced team. These include:

• Position versatility – athletes who can safely and confidently fill more than one stunt position

• Jump technique and strength

• Tumbling skills

• Attendance, effort, and coachability during the fall season

• The number of other athletes available and interested, which affects team composition and stunt group formation
